Peta Is An Organization That Fight For Animal Rights

How many of us love to wear leather products such as shoes, belt or jacket? Usually, leather products are luxurious as it has high quality and specially design from a factory. It is made from animal’s skin such as cows, crocodile, and pigs. However, for each leather products we buy, an animal is sacrifice for their skin. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) advertisement, ‘If the world ruled by Animals’ demonstrate this issue by portraying an imaginary world where animals use human’s skin for fashion. In the advertisement, they use pathos, a strong emotional appeals and logos, a logical appeal to make us reconsider the actions of taking animal’s skin for leather products or fashion and to put ourselves in the animal’s shoes. PETA is an organization that fight for animal rights in the world, with more than 5 million members and supporters ,(Our mission statement). PETA objective is to let people all around the world know about animal abuses in every sectors such as food, research and also fashions industry. The Storm I was walking my dog, Max on a warm sunny day with only a few clouds in the sky through my city, Miami, Florida, and at the time I was only 11, but my life was about to change and one of the scariest things that I would ever experience was about to take place. That day had felt like it would be normal, and like any other day, I went to school, saw my friends, came home, and did homework with my little brother Everett. Then, like I do every day, took my dog for a walk. The walk started out fine. It was peaceful, but then like it often does in Florida, a sudden rain started it didn’t really bother me so I just kept walking until a few minutes later a feeling of absolute panic and terror swept over me when loud sirens started to†¦show more content†¦Ã¢â‚¬Å" I promise,† I said, then our parents came in and we all sat together on the floor to wait out the storm. Can the federal government establish a federal religion? No! Why not? Because the 1st Amendment prohibits it. Lets look at the 1st Amendment. It says in part. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of rel-igion. Thus the Bill of Rights forbids the federal government in the establishment of a federal religion. So lets use a little common sense, if the federal government can not establish a federal religion. Howcan it establish gun control? It cant, the 2nd Amendment forbids it, just like the 1st Amendmentforbids a federal religion. Lets look at the 2nd Amendment, A well regulated militia, being necessaryto the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. Now lets move to the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights, it states that the Constitution gives the federal government certain powers and only those powers listed in the Constitution. Whatever poweris left over is reserved to the States. Thus, the 2nd Amendment takes gun control from the federal gov-ernment and the 10th Amendment puts the gun issue in the hands of the States. Lets look at the 10thAmendment, it says: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, norprohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. By the reaso ning of common sense, it is therefore unconstitutional for the federal government to passgun control measures, because the 2nd Amendment restricts the federal government and the 10th Amendment gives that power to the States. Thus, the States have a right to reasonably regulate firearmsfrom criminals but not deny Individual law abiding gun ownership. (The words the people refer to individuals.)
